A Different Kind of Financial Firm
Ella Rivkin came to the United States as a child of a single-parent household. Her mother, leaving the former Soviet Union, came here to live the American Dream…providing opportunities for herself and her children to lead financially successful lives. Ella grew up watching her mother achieving success and knowing that it’s possible to take a dream, work hard and turn it into a reality.
After completing her undergrad degree in 1997 at Brooklyn College (CUNY) with a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Accounting and Finance, Ella began an internship at a startup in January 1998, researching the corporate world and identifying the growth and success factors that ensure sustainability and optimal performance. As typical of Ella, what started as an internship could not help but grow into a partnership in this firm.
And in January 2009, Ella chose to go out on her own, starting ERPS, a licensed accounting firm based in New York offering accounting, financial planning and insurance services to businesses and individuals in the Metro NYC area to fulfill her clients’ business and personal goals. And, over the past 10 years, she’s grown ERPS Group from a one-person firm into a successful multi-person company…currently at 10 staffers.
